  1. This is SO epic!! Looks awesome–and challenging! I look forward to trying to fight a stalfos on a narrow ice bridge without falling off. 🙂 Also, the music is amazing. It sounds like Zelda, and it’s really atmospheric. All around great work! I’m looking forward to this as much as I’m looking forward to Zelda Wii U!

  2. Im so interested in the one with the canons. Looks really weird to be put in the game like that so Ill be interested to see if thats kinda like the theme for the dungeon. Also Do you guys think youll hide chest under bridges or like have multiple random caves throughout the map to explore through to get items like rupee.

  3. Is it wrong that upon discovering this, I had the biggest fangasm? This is so awsome… i am hyped beyond belief. you guys should add a switch shot in this game. the one from the oracle games. may take a little longer, but this game looks like a work of pure genius

  4. This is looking really cool! Quick question, would you guys be able to add horseback combat to the N64 Zelda engine? (if you have Epona in the game) It would be cool if you could cause I know its something the Ocarina of Time team wanted to achieve. Either way, the project looks to be coming along nicely!

  5. Will there be Mini Boss music from the original Ocarina of time in there? I loved that theme … especially when I fought the Dead Hand and the Stalfos

  6. Any new updates? The reveal of Breathe of The Wild reminded me of P3Q. 🙂 Love what you guys are doing… I always wished the N64 had a third Zelda game, and you guys are making it! Btw, are you going to use assets from Majora’s Mask like chu chus?

  7. This project looks unbelievable! Do you have a general month you’re going to release the demo for ice vale? Or the month the next release is in general? If you don PLEASE let me know, I’m so hyped

  8. Tried out the patch 0.5 and it is amazing so far. Did get stuck in the walls here and there but it is really fun. This ice dungeon looks fun can’t wait to try it!

  9. Philosophically, do you guys plan to make this game more of an exploration and combat game, or a puzzle game? I would love to see this beautiful world filled with kick ass puzzles!

  10. This looks amazing, and the demo was tons of fun. You guys have been silent for a few months though, not that I’m in a rush to get to the game, please by all means take the time you need it looks amazing, but with ninty being the way theyve been with fans lately I really hope you guys didnt run into a C&D

  11. So I’ll be honest here; I NEVER leave comments on anything. I know that a lot of people will say that, but I’m serious. This is the first comment I’ve ever posted on anything online; be it a forum, video, blog, etc. I just HAD to post some words of praise and encouragement for you all and your project. I was blown away with the 0.5 demo you released. It was great because of so many reasons, but if I had to pick one it would be the ambience: the entire experience was perfectly Zelda. I’m not sure if I can explain it, but everything pushed me to that conclusion. You have created a world that I am genuinely interested and invested in. I want to know what happened here and why I am where I am. I also loved the level design. It got me looking around, which to be honest I don’t do in many Zelda games. The dungeon design was great, I know some people said it was linear, but I felt it was a great first dungeon and after seeing the Frozen Necropolis I am so excited to see where this project will go. Finally I just have to give a shout out to the music. That was the final nail in the coffin of KILLING IT with the world building (haha see what I did there… no?… oh well…). I just wanted to post this to let you all know that there are tons of fans and supporters rooting for you! I’m just one of many and I can’t wait to see where this project goes next.

Also, it is great to see a team dedicated enough to go off the radar, but not neglecting little responses to posts letting everyone know you’re still at it! Take as long as you need to finish this, it will be completely worth the wait. Keep on keepin’ on!

  12. I’m pretty sure it’s hard trying to create fangames and hacks with Nintendo’s C&D’s flying everywhere these days. In any case, this is looking better than anything I’ve seen for Ocarina of Time. Keep up the hard work guys!

  13. Hey, I know you guys don’t often reply to comments, but I was just wondering, do you require and/or accept donations for the project? And if so where can I donate? Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask were two of my favorite Zelda games, and this looks utterly unbelievable. I’m excited to see where you guys go with this.

    • No. There was an update on Hylian Modding that states they’re still working on it. Good quality takes a lot of time. I know this because I’m working on a TAS.
