Pumpkin Field

The Pumpkin Field is named not for what is assumedly cultivated, but from what naturally grows: massive pumpkins. Legend has it the field was once planted with the seed of a single pumpkin by a farmer who hoped to restore life to the withering field she loved as a child. She never saw the field flourish in life, but before passing, a sprout broke the soil and she found her peace. Or so the story goes. This field is her legacy and nigh nothing else can grow due to the deep roots of the pumpkins absorbing all nutrients. This central field leads to Dread Gulch in the southwest, to the rickety port Barricade Beach in the southeast, to the tumultuous Fire Highlands in the northeast, and to the spooky Haunted Hills in the northwest.
